I run a free SSH client package called PuTTY. (Available
from
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/ ). The
package includes an SSH authentication agent called
Pageant which will allow me to authenticate using
public/private keys. I have put Pageant in my Startup
folder so I don't have to manually run it every time I
log in.
After I installed AntiSpyware, the next time I logged in
I received a Windows AntiSpyware Notice window stating "A
startup program pageant.exe requires your approval."
Since I use this program all the time, I checked
the "Remember this action" box and clicked on the Allow
button. However, the Windows AntiSpyware Notice window
still pops up again every time I log in.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and been able to
fix or work around it?
