disk read error means you have a problem with your hard
drive not your cd rom or floppy

Is there anyway i can find out what the problem is and fix
it or if not is there anyway i can access the files on my
computer as there is stuff i dont want to lose, even if it
means transferring it to a new hardrive.

Please help

-----Original Message-----

the cable that comes from your hard drive to your
motherboard its cable about 35 cm wide normally gray
if that is in properly you have a disk problem big time

If all the connections are secure and it is a major disk
problem, how do i fix it without losing my information.

any help appreciated.

Either install yr hd, as a slave in another sys to see if it can be read or
if the files are critical, and they cannot really be otherwise you would
have had backups wouldn't you? Send yr hd to a data recovery specialist 'On
track' is one such - No recovery no fee -
