Startup Problem

M

M. Berni

I have recently installed XP on my computer.
When I log in I get the System32 file contents window
automatically popping up on the screen.
I have looked in the relevant Startup files to take it
out, but there is nothing there.
How can I stop this file popping up each time I log in ?
Thanks.

Visit http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and scroll down
to Item No. 260. In the right column, click on "System32 Folder Opens
Upon Boot". Download this repair file and then run the repair.

MVP Kelly has an automated fix for this problem. Go to the following website
and scroll down to Line 260, right column. Click the "System32 Folder Opens
Upon Boot" link to download the file. Double click the file to install the
fix.
