startup menu

My startup menu is in a new location. Usually it is on the bottom of the
screen, but is now located on the right side of the screen. I've searched my
computer for a way to move it back to the bottom with no luck. Any ideas on
how to move the start up menu and task bar back? Thanks
 
Put the mouse on a blank area of the taskbar, right-click and drag it to
wherever you want.
 
Thanks for the suggestion but that didn't help. The startup menu and task bar
refuse to move!!
 
Thanks Jerry. We kept trying your response and it finally worked! Thanks so
much for the suggestion!
