In Windows Pro, How do you take programs out of startup.
In home there used to be a part to remove things out of
startup in pro i can not find it under help and support,
so how do I take programs out of my statup so they wont
start when windows starts?

Specifically, you'll need to click the Startup tab in MSCONFIG and uncheck
the stuff you don't want to load. Be advised, however, that many of the
entires listed here are executable or process names that can be challenging
to associate with a given application. Complicating matters, some
applications launch multiple processes to support what seems to be a single
function.

The good news, however, is that you aren't going to mess up your computer by
playing with the settings here. You can always go back and turn things back
on again.

Check for an option to not having the icon load in the System Tray via the
program(s) in question.

Other options for removal:

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig. Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck
accordingly. Then run this script to remove the disabled items from the
registry.
