Startup Installation

Please help, I have recently re-installed Spyware Doctor because of
performance problems but when I restart my system the Windows Installer
wizard tries to install something, it doesn't tell me what, then a Norton
Anti Virus message stops it saying "Norton Anti Virus doesn't support the
repair"? huh?

Can anyone tell me how I can see what it's trying to install, so I can
disable/fix it?

(sorry but it's likely additonal questions will follow once I find out
what's going on!)

I suspect it's to do with the Norton. My advice to you would be to ditch
Norton and get an alternative - I use F-Secure. All sorts of problems will
be sorted out when you get rid of Norton - eg do you have Security Centre
issues and System Restore doesn't work? Guess why.
