Dick,
Placing programs in startup folder (C:\Documents and
Settings\<<Username>>\Start Menu\Programs\Startup) makes the shortcut run at
Windows Startup everytime you login.
If you are referring to adding application in the ALL programs menu, add the
shortcuts here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Ramesh\Start Menu\Programs
by default, windows explorer, media player, remote assistance are listed
there. Add your favorite application shortcut there. Right-click new >
shortcut.

I looked at that, but there are only two files in there. One is
desktop.ini, and the other is an office startup. Where are all the
other programs in my startup folder?
