Startup document

[soccermom]

Somehow, my startup of Word 2000 is corrupted. Now when I
start Word, I get an old document. How can I correct this
to get a blank document? Thanks

Find and DELETE all copies of NORMAL.DOT template.
Word will create a New One on first run after deletion.

It is never advisable to delete Normal.dot. We always recommend renaming
Normal.dot so that customizations may be retrieved using the Organizer. This
is spelled out in
