starts and immediately crashes

IE opens and will load my home page (msn.com), but when I try to access any
other page, IE crashes. No matter whayt I do, I can't get it to load any
other page.

You could be infected with one or more adware, spyware, parasite programs.

You have a virus. Update your virus definitions. Call
the company that you have virus protection with, they will
send you a disk.
