I am having trouble just setting up a table i want. I
already have an excell file, but i wanted to import it
(which i know how to) then i wanted to format it, but as
far as i know, i have to make a new table for each and
every item.

That would certainly NOT be a good design.

Other than the fact that you're importing from Excel, though, you have
told us nothing whatsoever about what the data represents, how it is
structured, or what you're trying to accomplish. Care to post a little
more information?
