starting xp message choices

please hel
when computer starts up gives me 4 choices to use 3 are winxp and 1 is win 98 the only one that works is the 3rd winxp choic

how do remove the other choices as it is getting annoying ???????
 
Hi,

Start/run msconfig, go to the boot.ini tab. Click the button to "check all
boot paths", it should offer to remove any invalid ones.

98 the only one that works is the 3rd winxp choice
