I have terminal services users that I have added Word and Outlook to their
profiles. However, I receive the error: "Microsoft Word (Outlook) has not
been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the
application."
The program starts but closes with that error.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Does the user have to be an administrator for that last portion of setup? I
would think not, but that's the only thing that came to my head immediately.

On a terminal server, to install an application for remote users to use, you
must put Terminal Services into Install Mode before installing the
application. Otherwise, it will only work for the user that installed it.

There are two ways to put the server into Install Mode:

Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, Add New Program

in a Command Prompt key the command:

change user /install

You may get better help with this kind of issue by posting in the
microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services newsgroup.
