I have no idea what to set-up as my email account or how. I have a hotmail
email account and it says that that account can't be used. So can someone
help me on how to open a new mail account? Do I need to open one somewhere
else or how do I open one with Windows mail? Whatever it is, I want to open
a free email account. Please help me. I have no idea how to get started,
especially when I'm asked for server types and all. I don't know what to put
or how to get that info, but I guess first I need to know how to setup an
email account on Windows mail. Can someone help?

Hey Dave,

Thanks for responding and helping me. Is this Windows Live Mail free? Like
when I go to the website and hit "Try It", it seems like it will cost me
something or that it's only free for a limited time. I also read in the
Terms of Use something about "if you are charged" and blah blah blah. I just
wanted to ask you if it was free to download this?

Yes, it's free. And even though it's beta, it seems to be better than
Windows Mail that came with Vista.
Be aware that MS has about a dozen Live products....
I think I got Windows Live Photo Gallery installed when I installed the
latest version of WLM.

Windows Live Mail is free and is likely to remain free forever.
Highly recommended for Hotmail users.
