hi
after i had installed vista beta 2 i had to install windows xp sp2 for some
reason but after that vista is not starting i also tried startup recovery
from visa dvd but it failed.
what should i do to start vista again without reinstalling it

Installing XP will have destroyed the Vista boot system. To get a working
dual boot system you must install XP first and then Vista. If you do it the
other way round you will only get XP on boot (as you found out).

hi
i have installed vista on a new partition only
i already know that the boot system of vista is destroyed i want a way to
restore i back without reinstalling vista
is there any boot file we can modify to statr it back again

You may be able to use the Vista DVD if you boot on it and go into repair
mode. There may be an option similar to XP to restore the master boot record
etc. I have never tried this on Vista (I have used it on XP) and cannot
really help. Even if this succeeded it would not give you dual boot. As I
see it, the only way to get this would be to re-install Vista.
