I've got a curious situation where starting RRAS service causes one of
my netowrk cards to be disabled. I can stop RRAS and then
disable/enable the network card from Network Neighborhood Properties.
It seems to me this used to work. I did install drivers for a PPPoE
ADSL modem since the time I know this worked. Until I remembered that
it had worked, I thought the problem was hardware incompatability. Now
I'm not so sure. Has anyone seen anything like this. FWIW the NIC is a
Macronix MX98715 using driver version 2.13 (downloaded from Macronix
tonight after the Microsoft version 2.11 wasn't working).
Server is Win2K SP4.
Thanks
