Dear all,

I have two servers running in their own domain using
Active Directory. Once being the domain controller and one
being a member server. Under the Environment tab of a
particular user's account, I specified a starting program.
This is a batch file using
UNC "\\theserver\thefolder\mybatchfile.bat".

When I TS into the domain controller, the starting program
fires and start the required application, logs off as soon
as the user quits application, no problem. When I TS into
the member server, I get a desktop, i.e. starting program
not fired.

This user is a member of Domain Admins, Domain Users, and
Users.

Any idea. Thank you.

Kind regards,
Voon Siang

Yes, you need to terminal services license service needs
to be installed on a domain controller. However,
terminal services doesn't need to run on the domain
controller that is running the terminal services licensing
service.
