When I click on the shortcut the Powerpoint logo appears then disappears
then nothing else happens. Powerpnt.exe is in the processes list but not in
applications. What's causing this? I have several machinces with the same
problem.
Any help greatly appreciated.

By the way, it was previously working.

Once in a while, PPT may crash for whatever reason and not shut itself down
properly. That's what seems to have happened here.

PowerPoint only allows one instance of itself to run, so you'll need to use
Task Manager to End Task the Powerpnt.exe task you see there.

After that, it should start normally.

With luck, that's all there is to it. But if it does this regularly, let us
know.
