Starting Over

Having completely messed up my network at home , how do I
reset all settings to start over?

My suggestion is to uninstall the related Network Adapters from
Device Manager on all computers involved in the network and
then restart each computer.

If, after doing that, you then have things like
"Local Area Connection2" in Control Panel | Network Connections
you can right click on that icon and rename it to just "Local Area
Connection"

Then you should be starting with a clean slate.
