Hi all
How can I start a new page if the return key won't take the curser to the
bottom of the page?

The problem is that I have text boxes at the bottom of the page that the
curser wont go past, I seem to remember that there is a keyboard
shortcut to do this but I cant recall what it is.

Cheers

Neil

There are several ways:

CTRL+ENTER inserts a manual page break.

Note that a better way is to format the paragraph that should
start on a new page with "Page break before"
(Format>Paragraph>Line and Page Breaks tab). If a page break
should always be inserted before a specific paragraph style, you
can include the "Page break before" option in that style.

If you are using duplex printing, you may want an Odd page
section break, in order to make sure that the first page after
the cover page, or the first page of each chapter, starts on a
right page. Simply select Insert > Break, click "Odd page" and
click OK. Also select the "Mirror margins" option (or the
"Different odd and even" header option) in File>Page Setup;
otherwise Word uses the page number to determine whether a filler
page should be inserted or not, which could give an undesired
result, namely, if page numbering is set to restart (to 1) at the
section following the break.

Thanks
