Starting music at same time w/slide.

Because of the way it's recorded the music starts about one second after the
slide appears. Is there a way to start the music as the slide is appearing?
 
The easy solution would be to add a black rectangle over the slide that
fades out (auto timed exit animation) after 1 second. Both the slide and
the music start together and both "fade in" together.

Alternatively, you could edit the music file using something like audacity
(free audio program).
