I just loaded Frontpage 98. Do I need a server? If so, how do I get one?
I thought since I had internet access I had everything I needed to start.
Help!!!!

You don't *need* a server unless you want to test locally. If you mean a
server to host your web site for the public then yes, you need one. You
have to sign up with a web hosting service. Try www.webhost4life.com

FrontPage 98??? Where did you find it? That is Sooo old. FrontPage 2003 is
the current version.

You need a web host (web server) if you want people to see your site on the
internet.

FP 98 comes with a "Personal Web Server" that is installed when you install
the FP98 application, this allows you to publish to Http://localhost which
is "your" PC, acting like a web server - but bear in mind, that this is not
actually a web server as this is a more complicated issue.

It allows you to test, among other things, the functions of Frontpage like
the features that require server extensions.

Anyway FP98 seems a bit old, you might try upgrading to a later version.
