starting a sound clip in the middle of the clip

I am trying to insert music into a presentation. The clip I have has a verse and a chorus on it. The verse starts the sound clip. I need to start the clip with the chorus, as that is the part of the clip that is applicable to the presentation. I have no idea how to do this, and would appreciate any help.

Which version of PPT are you using? What file type is the sound?
