Starting a new movie in MM

This is going to be a really stupid question but when I want to start a new
movie in MM, all of my "old" content stays in the content screen. How can I
start a new movie from scratch and not have to get rid of the pictures that
are sitting in my contents pane. So far, the only way that I have been able
to start a new movie is to delete everything in the contents pane and then
start a new movie.
Thanks for answering my stupid question... :) I fee like an idiot.

Do you know if there is a way to get rid of the picts? Reason I am asking is
because I am teaching MM as a part of some new curriculum and the kids get a
little confused with the other pictures in the contents pane. Is the only
way to get them out of there is to delete them? Thanks for suggestions! :)

I've found that when I go to start a new project MM seems to autmatically
open a "new folder". (I agree that it can be very confusing if all your
pictures from multiple projects dump into a single folder.)

I've also found though, that once I've finished one project and no longer
think I need to keep the pictures in MM anymore, I've found if I delete them
from MM then I can no longer run the older movie (from within MM) cause it
can't find the pictures. So I wouldn't suggest deleting the pics.
