I haved been experiencing extended start up times. When I looked at my start
up programs, I noticed multiple Rundll32.exe each one appears to be
identical. I can't figure out how to remove the duplicates. When I
highlight them, the "remove" button is not enabled. Should I remove these
duplicates? How? Will it reduce my start up time? Thanks

In addition to Brink's always excellent advice, a scan for viruses and
malware would not be out of order since you shouldn't have those
rundll32.exe entries in Startup.

Thanks Shawn, I appreciate the quick and helpful response. I'll look over
the tutorial and let you know what I did and how it worked.

Thanks Malke, I appreciate the help. I am running AVG for the virus and
malware protection. I also thanked Shawn and will look over the tutorial and
proceed as needed. I am not shure what "rundll32" is so will have to Google
it and learn something new. I'm a "Cell Geek" so computers are mysterious
inorganic black boxes to me. Thanks again,
