I was wondering if anyone else was having the minor problem that I am. Even
though I have the Spyware program option set to "Enable MS AntiSpyware.." on
startup, it does not always load. There is no obvious reason that I can see.
Because of this I must monitor the program and insure that it has started.

Try this suggestion from Robim Walker:

In Windows, if you go Start-> Log Off, and then Log On
again, does the icon re-appear?

If so, you have been hit with a long-standing bug in
Windows. The only known workaround is to Log Off and On
again.

How do you know (what is the symptom) the application is
not running at startup? I have a problem where the
application's icon does not appear in the system tray
everytime I start the computer although the application
is listed on the "Processes" tab of the Windows Task
Manager and checked on the "Startup" tab of the System
Configuration Utility. However, I know the application
is running in the background because it alerts me from
time-to-time when a registry change occurs. Could this
possibly be your problem?
