I am using Microsoft Windows 2002 5.0 and QuickBooks Pro
2002. Occasionally, I am unable to open any of my Office
programs and I have to restart my computer. Where do I
look for the source of the problem?

There's no such thing as Windows 2002 If you have an office issue post the
exact text of any error messages in one of the office groups.

I must be confused, then. When I'm in QuickBooks and try
to export a report to Excel, I get a notice that Excel
could not be found. I then check Task Manager and it tells
me that Excel is not running. As for the exact wording, I
don't recall. If I try to open Word or Excel from the
Programs file, it tells me the source cannot be found. If
this doesn't make sense, I will try a request again when
it happens and note exact error messages.
Thanks, Chris

Nothing to do with the operating system. Try posting some details to an
office, word or excel group.
