Start up tool bar

My computer takes so long to load up I think because I
have too much on my toolbar. For the life of me, I cannot
figure out out to delete some of the programs from it.
Can you help?

Referring to the taskbar?
this is the typical taskbar:
----------------------------------------------------------
start | launch area | programs | notification area | clock
----------------------------------------------------------
launch area contains shortcuts that you placed in this
area. these should not slow anything.

programs might have some that you want to show up when
you logon. these might slow down depending on if any are
seeking websites.

notification area should have anti-virus icons and maybe
the internet connection or remove hardware icons. also
here might be volume or messenger icons. these should
not slow the startup. any other items here are
questionable....some might be spyware.

find/update/run these programs to remove the
spyware....use yahoo/google.
spybot
ad-aware

Start - Run - msconfig - startup. Uncheck anything you

don't want to start upon boot.
