Start Up Taskbar

The task bar disappeared on the bottom of my screen. Where did it go and how do I get it back? I don't even know how to shut off my computer without hitting the start button (other than by the system itself) - but I have stuff I need to save before I shut down. Anybody??

Greetings,

Try searching it on your desktop. It has to be there... If you see two
arrows try resizing it. If nothing works, try pressing "Windows" logo key at
the bottom of the screen to activate the start menu.

Also try checking your system for any spyware:
