Twice I've had a screen come up black and then something
saying it was going to do a Complete Memory Dump and there
was a count down. The first time I saw it, it was down to
5 and I freaked and turned off my computer immediately.
It just happened again today and it was at 2. I'm worried
that this means it will dump all of my memory on my
computer.

Does anyone know why this is happening and if it means my
computer is about to die????? Can I do anything to stop
it from happening?

It has already aborted and it is simply trying to record the dump so you can
analyze it.

Let it proceed.

Then post the entire contents of the event log STOP message.
