start up programs

adding info to help needed. i have 188 mb ram and a load
of 72-92 percent? it needs to be in 20's? was told to
disable start up programs? any other ideas w/out adding
more ram motherboard cant handle more. if disable is
right and best what programs do i need? and what to
disable? there are soo many? what are the onyl ones i
need!? thank you!!
