Win XP Home Edition, Dell PC.

Was upgrading Norton Systems Works when PC stopped responding and was
re-booted, tried to used Norton Go Back.

Problem I now have is PC will not reboot, it goes through all the bios
checks then I get blue screen with:

Error 'unmountable_boot_volume' and I have to re-start.

I have tried starting in Safe Mode, tried using 'last known good
configuration', but simply cannot get past this screen.

I'm really concerned that I will have to re-install XP which I really do not
want to do, can anyone give me any help to overcome this.

many thanks
phil
