when i go to load my personal settings, the first pop up i get states 'c:/windows/system 32/pwr32ctr.exe can not be found, i have spoken to a tech from microsoft and it was determined that there was three of the same viruses found, and that if I installed Norton anti virus it should correct it. However, after the install I am still having the same problem and it does not appear to have removed the virus. I am a new user and am getting frustrated trying to correct it. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

You have trojan.gemma... go here:
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/trojan.gema.html for more info
and manual removal instructions. Also use Norton AV to do a full system scan
(Start> All Programs> Norton AntiVirus> Norton AntiVirus> choose full system
scan.
