For some reason win 2000 pro won't start up, the little
bar goes all of the way to the right then it locks up. It
starts in Safe Mode but that's it, and it stops accessing
the harddrive so it isn't loading anything, it just dies.
Anyone have a clue on how to fix?

I am having the exact same problem. It started after the
blaster viasco. Have you found a fix yet?

I am having a similar problem.
While working in windows, the systems completely locks up,
I cannot even access it with Ctrl+Alt+Del, I have to do a
hard shut down. When I try to restart the system then a
similar thing happens, it won't reboot, the status bar is
static midway, I then shut down again and again....after
the second to the fourth try it reboots, reporting no
errors etc. Very Very STRANGE!

Any ideas!

If it starts in Safe Mode then you should remove all
non-essential adapters (network, sound) and try again.
