Start up problem with MM2

Each time I start MM2, it issues a debug/close pop up. The Signature
error messages is:

App: moviemk.exe AppVer:2.0.3312.2 ModName qedit.dll
ModVer: 6.5.2600.2180 Ofset: 0001a513



Can anyone help me?
 
Do you have SP2 installed?
If so you should be on version 2.1, not 2.0

Also some people have found installing IE7 has caused this problem, so roll
back to IE6 and see if that helps.

I will check which versions of both I have and give them a try. I
appreciate your help!


p.s. You by chance don't have any experience with some software
called Fxhome Effects Lab, do you?
