Go to Start / Run and type in msconfig When System configuration Utility
opens go to the tab 'startup' expand the column under command, any programs
that refer to anti virus, anti spyware leave checked, you will see
printers/ music programs they can be unchecked, if you find a program that
you are not sure about, type it into google and read, if it is not an
essential program, and does not belong to Microsoft it would be safe to
uncheck.
OR take a screen capture of system configuration utility and post it back
here I will be able to tell you what is ok and not ok.
How to take a screen capture minimize all pages and leave open on your desk
top system config utility page only, expand the column heading, on your key
board hit the key that says print screen, then go to mspaint open it and go
to the tab Edit then hit paste, your screen capture will be there then
attach it to your reply
