start up greeting

I was intrested to find out how i cuold have my computer
say hello or some other miscxxx. greeting, because i saw
my brothers laptop greeting him when he logs on and he
has xp but so do i so how cuold i do this????? Thank You.

Narciso,

You just need to download (or create) a wav file that greets you in the
manner in which you wish to be greeted and go to the Control Panel and open
the Sounds and Audio Devices applet. Click the sounds tab, and change the
Windows Start event to the wav file you have.
