start taskbar is huge

the start taskbar is taking up one half of the desktop
screen; how do i minimize it to use the full screeen again?

Jenn,
Get the mouse on the taskbar until the up/down arrows
appear and click. Drag it down and the taskbar will
shrink. Hope that helps.
