Any idea how to start scandisk without using a right click? My system is hanging with a right click on My computer and the drive icons. How else can I access drive properties and tools. Thanks much!
Use the command-line version of Check Disk (Scandisk in previous Windows)
Start > Run > type in chkdsk /f > OK
Click Yes to running the utility on next Restart.
If the Rt. click response failure persists, post back.
