How would one go about starting an .exe file program each time they turned
on the computer?? I would like to start up a Childs program each time she
turns on her computer.

Put a shortcut to any program you want to start automatically
into the folder
\Documents and Settings\your user name\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Ken,
Thanks, that was short and sweet. I guess one would need to put it into each
child's start that uses the computer. That it what I forgot to do.

Isn't there something like an "All Users" profile? Put it in that
profile's Startup folder and it should run on startup for everybody.

Go to C:/Windows/Tasks/ and open "Add Scheduled Task".
Then select "Next >".
Then choose the app from the list.
Type a name if you wish, and choose "When my computer starts" or "When I log
on"
Then choose the user and the password, if any.
Then Click "Finish" and you'll be done.

The START button right-click menu has an "Open All Users" option.

Victor,
Thank you. That is a great way of doing it. Also you know as long as I have
used computes I never noticed the "Open all users" on the start button. Talk
about just following the bouncing ball. Have to pay more attention I guess.

I also have to learn to spell.
