Start pc windows xp

is't possible of started my pc at level of boot with a PASSWORD because of
my child. before windows xp it was possible with AUTOEXEC.BAT, but now i dont
know.

You should look in your computers BIOS menu for supervisor and user
password. This is probably easier and definitely far more secure than any
Windows specific password mechanism.

ok but I already passwords for supervisor and user activate but this passwords are only for updating the bios not for the boot.

my pc is a HP PAVILION with windows xp home!!
 
In this case, the OS is irrelevant as no version of Windows has a boot level
password. As already mentioned, many manufacturer's include the ability to
password protect in the BIOS which prevents the system from completely
booting until you input the password. If your system doesn't come with such
an ability which is entirely the function of the BIOS and not related to
Windows, you will need to look for third party software that can give you
this type of option.

Conversely, you could look at some hardware remedy such as one that might
physically lock the computer, thereby preventing anyone without the proper
key from booting the system.
