Start Outlook in Offline mode?

I am using OL 2003 with the Outlook Connector for Lotus Domino on a Dell
laptop. If I start Outlook when not connected to my company's network (i.e.,
without using my VPN client), the Connector gives me an error dialog about
not being able to contact the server and then shutsdown Outlook. I think I
can avoid this problem if I start Outlook in "offline mode". Is there a
command-line switch to start Outlook in Offline mode? I couldn't find a
switch in the MS online help listings.

Hi BIll,
to start outlook in safe mode
Go to Start, Run, then type
outlook /safe

I don't want to start Outlook in "safe mode". I want to start it normally
but with the "Work Offline" option turned ON. "Safe mode" still performs a
send/receive, which is what I want to avoid, since it causes problems when
I'm trying to start Outlook and I'm not connected to my company's network via
VPN.
