I am a long-term user of Windows 98, new to Windows XP.
I am trying to configure my new XP machine to function in some aspects like
98.
This business of XP having three levels of everything is dissatisfying to
me. One of the things I am stuck on is the Start Menu. There appears to be
a Start Menu for (1) "All Users", (2) "Owner", and (3) "Owner.YOUR [serial
number]".
When I click "Start" I get a menu labelled "Owner".
Is there any way I can get the "Start" button to open the menu for "All
Users" instead ?
I am the only person who uses this machine. I want to reduce the complexity
of using XP. I want ONE Start Menu, not three. I want to use the one which
includes all entries.
Any suggestions ?
