Start Menu

I am having problems in My Start Up Menu.
When I put my mouse on "All Programs" no submenue comes up.
When I put my mouse on Help & Support, I get a question about do I want to
make a short cut.
How can I solve these two promblems.

In he Classic Mode everything seems to be okay.

I am using Windows XP
 
Rightclick Start>Properties>Customize button
Now under Programs you can click the up arrow to select how many
programs you want listed. Then click OK.
About creating a shortcut for Help and Support, click NO.
 
When I press the start menu on Windows XP and then press "All Programs" the
sub menu doesn't come up. I have tried everything.

Now if I am in the Classic Mode it works.

CAn anyone be of some assistance for me.
