John

I am using 2000 server 2p4, xp pro sp1.

I work at a school and would like to customize the
student's start menus. Mainly I would like to remove
everything I don't want them touching or that is already
restricted to them anyway. I have a few issues though:
(1) Not all the computers have the same software
installed, so if I create a start menu and assign it to
groups using folder redirection some of the computers
will have start menu links to programs that aren't
installed on that particular computer. (2) If I go into
All Users start menu and just start deleting things then
the admins don't have easy access to system tools, etc.
How can I have my cake and eat it too? I mainly want to
remove almost everything under accesories (except
entertainment) and remote assistance...stuff like that.
Thanks very much.
