Just try to rename "Windows Remote Assistance" to something else.
It will change it back to the original name.
Not the program name itself, but the name that appears on the Start Menu
(the link).

The whole Start Menu thing is weird in Vista. In XP I use a Control Panel
applet called StartupCPL to edit startup items. But in Vista after you move
or delete them, they reappear and sometimes double up in All Users and
Current User. Not only can I not use StartupCPL anymore, I can't get my
head around what is happening here.

Then someone needs to come up with a DEBRANDER,
or insist that Microsoft come out with an auto-update to "fix" this issue.

Open the folder:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Maintenance

Edit the hidden, system file named 'desktop.ini', delete the line that
reads:

Remote Assistance.lnk=@%SystemRoot%\system32\msra.exe,-100
