I downloaded a windows tweak toy and when using it, I
somehow erased all the shortcuts/ links in my start
menu. Is there any way to restore it without creating
shortcuts one by one? Any helpwould be great!

Melanie,

What "tweak" toy did you download? That would be helpful in assisting
you. Additionally, if it was TweakUI, and you used the My Computer, Special
Folders section to relocate your Start Menu, then the old shortcuts are in:

Documents and Settings\<your username>\Start Menu

Simply copy them to the location you moved the Start Menu to (right click
Start, and select Explore).

Oh, you cannot navigate to it through Start > Accesories
System Tools. Duh. Sorry.

To get to System Restore, go to Start -> Run then paste in

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

then press ENTER.

It will bring you to SR just like you had clicked your
way there.

Sorry again, but in the event you have NOTHING at your
Start Button,

--Right Click over your Desktop.

--Select New then Shortcut

--A dialog box will appear. Where it says "Type the
Location of the Item" paste in

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

--Click NEXT, then FINISH.

You now have a shortcut to System Restore you canclick on
to get to it.
