Start Menu Expandability

Is there any way to expand the start menu? Currently
there are two columns full of programs, and there are
some that I cannot see yet know they are on the menu. My
expansion is high enough that I can fit another column on
my screen, but I do not know how. Is there any way to do
this?

Additional columns are added as necessary. In the format you are using, all
sub-folders appear as fly-out menus.

You might try a different mode though many don't care for it, right click
the start button, select properties, click Classic Start Menu, click apply
and ok, this should give you a menu with an arrow at the bottom for things
not seen though it also uses fly-out menus for sub-folders. NOTE: you can
always go back to cascading menus by following the instructions above and
selecting Start Menu.
