The start menu/bar is set to be hidden when not in use
Lately it has for some reason become persistent if not insistent
When some program has a message, the menu/bar will appear and NOT disappear
until it is addressed
Sometimes the message windows in question are hidden behind others and will
not appear on top
Then one literally has to minimze all the windows above it to find out which
window is the cause of the insistence.
If I have an idea which if the software programs are the cause it the bar
appearing, clicking on the start menu bar icon for that program will NOT
make it come to the foreground
Instead, I need to click twice on that specific icon
First to minimize from behind the other windows
Second to maximize on top of the other windows
This is TRULY annoying and a total waste of time, where the software is
setting itself as the arbiter of what needs my attention.
