Vista x64 RTM (MSDN).

I have around 15 VPN connections defined. When I click Start, Connect
To, the "connect to network" box can take anything up to 15 seconds to
display. It's as if it's checking the status of each conenction.

Is there a simple way to revert to XP's logic, where I could simply
choose the desired VPN connection directly from the start menu?

Many thanks,

Jim

Jim,

I agree with you. I am having the same problem too. I have 18 VPN
connections. It takes at least 60 seconds for the "Connect To" dialog box to
show. Why? This needs to get fixed. I do have a band-aide solution as a
work around. I have stop using "Connect To" and created a short cut on my
desktop to "Network Connections". Go to Control Panel and select "Manage
Network Connections"
Next Right click on the top address titled "network connection" and select
"Copy Address". Paste this to your desktop to create a shortcut to "Manage
Network Connections" Hope this helps for now.
