when I log in as Administrator (myself) the start button is square. when I
change to the guest or the other log in I made, the start button is round.
How did that happen? Can I get all of the start buttons to become round?

You are using the Classic theme in your account instead of the Vista Aero
theme.

Another crazy remark : create another Admin account. How does the Start
button look in this account ?

Tried as you suggest and the new administrator acount has the round start
button. What's next?
 
Logon to that " square " Admin account > right click on the open space of
your desktop > click Personalize > click Theme > under theme, click the
pointer and change Windows Classic to Aero, Windows Vista ,or something else
Apply/OK.
